Regina Shirelle is a native of Lake Charles, Louisiana, where she was raised since early childhood. She is a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church where she is active in the Knights of Saint Peter Claver, Ladies Auxiliary, St. Rita Court #31. Regina Shirelle is no stranger to the stage performing with Gabriel Brown’s Urban Soul Theater in “For colored girls who have considered suicide when the Rainbow is enuf” and “The Vagina Monologues”, The Stage Presents Theater in “Blues for an Alabama Sky”, TNT Worldwind Productions in “The Greatest Gift”, and most recently in Acting Bad’s Production of “Just As I Am”. Regina is currently pursuing her BS in Human Services Management, and credits her ethics to her mother, Agnes T. Joseph, who passed away remembering that her mother instilled in her determination, hard work, strong will, the love of all people, and a sense of ones own self.
