Rufus Singleton Jr.

Rufus Singleton Jr. is honored and humbled to have been selected to play a role in the dramatic exciting play That’s the Way of The World. He is a native Houstonian where he grew up in the heart of the Acres Home Community. He graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. He attended Huston-Tillotson College where he received a B.A. in Business Administration and Prairie View AM University with a Master of Education. He has served as a life long educator in the Houston Independent School District. He currently works as an Assistant Principal at James Madison High School. Rufus is a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated. The one thing he is most proud of is being a devoted husband and loving father. In his spare time, he enjoys public speaking and reciting poetry. His educational philosophy is very simple students do not care how much you know, until they know how much you care.
