Alice M. Brown, lead singer of the Anointed Brown Gospel Singers was born in Houston, Texas. She began singing at a very young age, the sweet sounds of Gospel in church choirs, local bands, performing and traveling across the U.S. Also, she volunteers singing at the Star of Hope Mission and other mission facilities within the Houston area.
In the year of 2010, Alice along with “The Anointed Brown Gospel Singers” were inspired by their Mother, Pastor, Overseer Jeauniece Brown, to produced their first CD Single, Titled “I Know My Name is Written Down in The Lamb Book of Life.” Since the release of the CD in 2011, the song has been played many times on “Gospel 1360 AM”, KTSU 90.9 FM Radio and is played on other gospel stations throughout the US. In addition, their song is sold on CD Baby, Amazon, iTunes, Rhapsody and other music affiliates in the US, UK and Canada.
