A veteran actor of over 40 years; Harriett brings to life the jocose Big Mama.
She appeared most recently in Main Street Theatre’s production of Cut N Shoot. She toured nationally in Thomas Meloncon’s “Whatever Happened to Black Love”, “Before Time Runs Out”, and Master Theater’s “Laura Mae”.
Other theatre credits include; A Matter of Manhood, Where Were You In 65, Jump The Broom, If Beds Could Talk, Church Folk, Grace, Amen Corner, To Be Young Gifted and Black.
Mrs. Fry Solomon studied theatre at Lon Morris College.
In an addition theater, Harriett is also a writer. She is currently working on a collection of antidotal quotes and sayings spiced with barnyard philosophy to be entitled “Things my Mama Said”.
She is married, with two children, four granddaughters, and a great-grandson.
She thanks GOD for her gifts and knows without a doubt, she was born to create. “Never give up the Dream!”
